I can't say it changed my life in any substantive way, however. People raving and writing books about their visions of hell is hardly "amazing" or "life-changing". I think it's a bit sad really. In the absence of anything other than the testimony of zealots (which are ten a penny in most religions), it seems likely that they're either delusional or making it up for the fame and/or book deals.
